I survived through affliction and trauma, remained alive after the cessation of people, things and events. I gained a capacity for endurance achieving a state of existence out of necessity. I adapted to the environment through the origination of internal changes and by confronting time. Personal inanimate objects become the realization and embodiment of an abstraction remaining in a parallel existence. The union of seemingly disparate elements constitute the identity of the survivor. They form the organism of survival. Like anthropological ancient customs they hold the persistence of cultural traits containing remnants of practices and lost original meaning or usefulness. This is my personal survival attained by confronting and confusing time through personal tokens.
