The perception of adornment is modified to allow for a consideration of new definitions of the body and foster an engagement between maker and wearer through a shared creation of memories. In a world seemingly obsessed with appearance and individuality the adorned body is at the fore. Whilst covering they transform into dynamic communicative symbols, reflecting, covering and protecting. Dress is always contextual, removed from its fixed cultural positioning it allows the viewer to experience the wearer. The moving dresses create cultural metaphors and retain, in their honest simplicity, a relevant validity.
